AN EARLY START FOR SHOW TIME

although it seems November is afar  off, it will be here before I know it, my two day Christmas show & it requires a lot of cutting, sewing, stuffing, painting, sanding, ageing there’s even some hammering involved lol! Friday is the longest of the two days 9:00 A.M.  till 9:00P.M. & it’s busy non stop & my tables are usually about naked by Saturday morning, so when I saw this Christmas In July Challenge I knew it’d be a good kick off to getting ready

I think I have plenty of Gingers for this year

little Annie's are good sellers for me & they make great fill in’s , I went to paint their faces on & couldn’t find the paints , but no worries, they’ll have a face in no time they make up fast & I’m looking to do at least  ten of these, I just love them!

Andy is hiding so we’ll snag his picture later, now it may not look like much but this is a lot with all that’s going on over here lol! I didn’t know people were coming to cut my yard today so I had to deal with that, I didn’t know I didn’t know where my paint was, I didn’t know my black buttons weren’t where I put them last , this is actually a good thing, I can now make sure to have all these things before show time sneaks up on me, it seems I always never have enough little stuff or not enough big stuff, I intend to have plenty of both this year

TRIP AROUND THE WORLD PROGRESS

the other day was a good productive day, I went into the sewing room off & on all day & worked on my scrappy quilt, got seven more strips ready to assemble into blocks

I guess I was in a hurry on this one the last block didn’t quite go to the end

I tried  to hide it with the rotary cutter for the picture lol!

humm to fix it I’d have to go from a 12” block to a 10: then do all of them 10 humm no! I wont do it!scrapes! where’s my scraps! awww one little scrap just the right size & it was the only only lol!I sewed it to the end &

waa laa just right, shhhhh you didn’t see that! lol!

EXCUSES TO MESS UP THE SEWING ROOM

Lol! I just got it all fluffed for the Where Bloggers Create party , I took everything  except the desk & table out & re arranged & by the time it was over with it wouldn’t all go back in lol there’s still tons of fabric, Annie's, supply's etc. all over  the living room  lol I came across this linky party today

I had been wanting to get a head start on things for my Christmas show, seems I never get enough Santa, Snowmen related items, anything snowman sells, I always practically sell out every year, this being a 2 day show Fri, 9am-9pm & Sat, 9am-2pm makes for a long weekend & a lot of sewing stuffing, staining, painting, sanding going on

so we’ll get those Christmas patterns out & see what happens lol!

what men wont do lol! hubby bought this puzzle  way back & took it to work & all they guys worked on it during breaks lol!

I seen on Pinterst  a tutorial ,how to tint jars, I loved the results, the 2 aprons on the left I found at antique malls, the one on the right was originally a curtain panel & I turned it into an apron

Clarice is one happy gal in her new gown, I’m glad I painted the shutter green, the white just wasn’t happening for the gown
