THE TILDA CRAZE

I first saw very few of these dolls popping up on Pinterest, then all of a sudden they seemed to be everywhere, my goodness! at the boards on Tilda! lol whether you make her simple, country, prim, fancy. story book thyme or Holiday themed there’s just something about her that makes you wantta make one two three or more lol! & if you keep searching you’ll find patterns for her accessories

 

so go ahead check out Tilda on Pinterest, bet you can’t pin just one! lol! I’m going to take one more quick look for Tilda’s then it’s back to the sewing room to work on my scrappy quilt!

I WAS FEELING SCARFEE!

How can something that seems & looks so simple  I’m talking a 10 min job tops  drive you a little crazy? when you don’t have time to sit still that long! lol! my Friday had consumed all of my time before I knew it, with going out of town to my daughters & getting hubby ready to go out of town for the week so there you have it, I admit defeat ! lol! but be sure to drop by & visit those who fought the fight  to create & won over at

I purchased some warm & natural to use as my quilt batting for the scrappy quilt I’m working on, just a few more blocks & I’ll be ready to get it finished up in time for the bloggers quilt fest , with hubby being out of town I’m excited for all the sewing I’ll get done,  that’s my story for now anyway! lol!

 

IT’S TIME TO GET BUSY

The girls remind me that it’s time to get busy! With less than 32 days till show time, not counting a day to set up soooo 31 days humm there’s packing…see where this is going? outta time! that’s where! lol! this week I’m getting ok trying lol to get things organized, muslins made, things stuffed, making sure I have all the supplies I need ,so I can create full speed ahead while hubby’s outta town next week, I can pull bankers hours or pull all nighters lol!

I purchased some batting for my scrappy quilt, I’m finishing it up & entering it in the BLOGGERS QUILT FESTIVAL  coming up next week, ohhh so close!

has life got you so busy, it seems there’s not enough “me time” it does me but in a good way, as I sit here typing this post I have a 3 yr old grandson waiting on my arrival to go to the Zoo today with him & mommy this morning lol! so it’s all good! I came across this Bloggers Quilt Festival this morning & thought humm could I finish my quilt if I sign up, could this be the fire that sparks a finish? lol!

I’m just a few blocks away from finishing up my scrappy quilt & who knows there may be hope for the quilt that’s been in the closet for a few years lol! with less than seven weeks show time will be upon me, it takes a lot to do a 2 day show especially when it runs 9-9 I’m gonna miss these guys but I know they are in loving homes lol! humm seven weeks, surely I can whip up some more, we’ll see!

I do great every year so I’ve got to get a  fire under me & get busy but today I must go to the Zoo lol!
