WHEN THEY ASK

I recently got an email from a lady asking about  a post I made on Tilda dolls a while back, there was one she dearly loved & had been searching for a pattern

I responded that that there are basic patterns out there & many different ways to make them that I also have a Tilda pattern/tutorial board as well as just Tildas

we all pin most things because they're just cute right? helps us dream etc. lol! it is never nice to make & sell someone's design but if you’re making  something for yourself most things can be adapted, with a basic pattern you can make your Tilda creation all your own

I haven’t made any Tildas just yet but they are on the wantta make list lol! if you keep up with my other blogs you’ll see I’m into quite a lot lol!

THAT SURE IS A LOT TO TAKE DOWN

That is my thoughts every time I look around my sewing room & think about painting it a different color lol! do you ever  think of changing the color in your room only to have the thought of taking it all down & back up stop the thinking process? lol! it’s a good thing I have plenty to keep me busy enough not to ponder on that thought too long lol! this is week 3 of Karen's after Christmas sew along , I’m working on Angels this week

SCRAPPY GOODNESS

well it was starting out to be a good day, I was on a good roll getting some UFO’s knocked out then bam! somehow my foot got twisted & I hit the floor right smack on my knee cap, HARD! I heard it crack & thought oh no!, I immediately ran & put ice on it, it seemed to do fine till I stood up which made it start swelling again so babying it with the ice pack threw me into shut down mode

I decided later to work on my scrappy quilt, all it needs now is for 2 more rows to be sewn together , so close!

with only two more rows to be sewn on  it’ll be ready for batting & backing, a quilter I am not but I’m having fun learning!

This could be a good time to catch up on those UFO’s or make something new, something for yourself, someone else , shows, the ideas are endless

 

 

UPDATE ON JOHN

Thank you all for your heart felt prayers for my nephew-n-law John, this afternoon the Physical Therapist sat him up on the side of the bed & he was taken completely off the ventilator! so far he is holding his own, he is still in need of healing for his liver

when there seemed no way God may a way, when doctors gave no hope there was hope in a mighty God , in that darkest hour the light still shone through,when death was so near, there was mercy, we serve a mighty God while you still have breath within you don't waste another minute by not living for him

GOD IS MOVING!

Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint and to them that have no might he increaseth strength

First & foremost we give God all the praise & glory for how far John has came, although he is not completely out of the woods yet & is still in need of a miracle, God has came through right on time

my sister had this to say as I opened the computer this morning

John opened his eyes yesterday!!!!!!! Moved his head ..lifted his legs and nodded yes and no to questions...motioned to Tracy that he wanted to write but still to weak to work the pen...he still has a long road to go...but we take each little number ...each little movement as a huge blessing since the doctors first said he would never wake up...and if he did he would never function basically a vegetable...But praise the Lord there is a God who still seeks to show Himself strong to those who dare to believe Him..please continue to lift us up in prayer...just so thankful for you guys and your love and kindness....never doubt what your prayers and love can do......love you guys

John is still in critical condition, the doctors' are only giving him a50/50 chance we have have seen God move where they was no hope, where  there was no way he made a way, we don’t know what the outcome of Gods final plans are but we do know that he is in control, in the beginning the doctors were pressuring Tracy to end it but she cried out for mercy, she determined to see hope

we don’t always understand  the big why’s in our life but for now God has chose to wake him because some doctor that said he’s never wake up needed to witness a miracle, another  that said he’d be a vegetable & never respond if he does wake up now sees him responding to pain  sees him lifting his legs & arms up, looking around the room trying to talk, some family member  in a nearby room needed to be reminded that as long as there is breath there is hope, families in the waiting room needed to witness this family believes in prayer

John is still in serious condition, they tried taking him off the ventilator this morning but he struggled to breath on his own, he is however breathing @ 40% on his own, they will continue dropping the percentage but they can only leave him on the ventilator for so long & then they will want want to talk about  trek, we want John breathing on his own so please continue to pray! his liver is showing some activity but there is still a lot of damage

PLEASE BEAR WITH US AS WE STAND IN THE GAP FOR A MIRACLE

 

I pray that all of you are experiencing  a great start to the New Year, at some point in your day could you just whisper the name John, he lies in ICU on life support, his life is hanging by a thread, my niece Tracy is devastated, doctors are pressuring her to make decisions, brothers, sisters, cousins, mothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews huddled in a waiting room believing for a miracle

through  the years of blogging I’ve seen followers come & go if there’s nothing posted quick enough, I’ve even had a friend tell me once that if  a blogger goes two days without posting she deletes them, I know I’m probably not the most exciting blogger to follower & I do get behind more than once & I’m not going to go into a long spill as to why I blog but if you’re gone  you’ll be be sadly missed

for at this time my place is beside my niece who is hurting for her husband, my place is beside my sister who is hurting for her daughter, my place is beside nieces & nephews  who are hurting for their sister, my place is beside  little ones who don’t understand why we can’t run & play, why we have to be quite but more importantly my place is at the feet of Jesus crying out for mercy for John
