A DAY OF SEWING / A DAY OF BONDING

yesterday was such a wonderful day spent with my youngest daughter & grand babies, she called asking me to come up & teach her how to make the girls an out fit to wear to the pumpkin patch, it was a full day of designing, sewing & lots of laughter! the only pattern peice we used was for the pants, the rest I taught her how to make her own pattern, the ruffels we made up, the cat is an image off the internet (free printable)I got to teach, pin & iron, she wanted to do it all herself so she could say"I made it all by myself" lol & she did, 2 outfits! I'm so proud of her!

THE GOOD, BAD & THE UGLY

LOL not sure if it's getting good, bad or ugly over here, with less than a few hours to tag it, load it or leave it with no nap in sight it could get rough LOL LOL, I need to re bag my candles but your guess is as good as mine as to where they're at LOL oh well no pressure right?LOL

well here's the ugly, this is where all the painting, staining & grunding takes place & it starts at 5am, not kidding! LOL

then we move over to the drying table, a more desirable sight

then there's sanding to be done, jingle bells to be added to the peppermints, stars to be added to wreaths, lg. crows go in Annie's arms the move over for the gingers to dry

UP TO MY EYEBALLS

just a little note to let you know I'm still here, just up to my eyeballs in stuffing, painting, pricing , packing ohh make it stop! LOL, today is full of panting ornies, Annie legs, anything that will sit still long enough will get painted with pictures to follow LOL

I didn't get as much done as I had planed having to stop midstream & help a friend move, with my first show less than a week away I will be pulling quite a few all nighters LOL I had finished these earlier , some of the stars need a good grubbying

a little more tweaking needed on theses babies

got a lot of sorting done in my little den, rabbits, barn cats, raggedys, there's crow pies on top & underneath it all there's wooden parts for snowmen wreaths & saltbox houses lol

projects for when I'm in the living room LOL candy corn,Annie body parts, two with snowman & 2 with crows , I'm not sure but I think I'm accumulating more UFOs LOL

IT'S A LOCK IN!

JUTE @THE DOLLAR STORE

can you believe it? jute at the dollar store! LOL now you can find big things of jute at places like Walmart etc but it's stringy & stiff, for the longest I have been buying jute in the tiny little bags at Michael's for a few dollars , when I saw this I thought yea you'll be stiff, but I proceeded to pick it up & investigate , it was soft! & just a dollar! so if you use a lot of just in your crafting , check out your dollar store!

HAPPY LABOR DAY

Wishing you a wonderful blessed labor Day, be sure to give God thanks for the benefits of freedom, whether you're spending time with family or just enjoying a day off , be blessed! we're just chilling & working in the yard today, then it's back to getting ready for our first show of the year, counting down to 18 days now, whew!

BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!

counting down to 22 days till show time! whew! ginger's are baking, Santa's are hollering HO HO HO, snowmen melting, no wonder with this 100 degree weather LOL, crows are flying, Annie's are singing, Scarecrows are staying outta the heat in fear they may catch fire LOL, reindeer are looking for Santa, somebodys playing ball with the rag balls, I'm gonna count to three & everybody better get into their totes! 1...2....3... well you can stay out a little bit longer seeing I'll be up anyway LOL
