BETTER LATE THAN NOT AT ALL

well that’s my story & I’m sticking to it lol! Fri. was an all day adventure,I wound up needing to take hubby to his Dr. appointment seeing he just came off midnights & was oh so sleepy , then from there we went to lunch, check on my parents then it was late & we’re both tired I know he was for sure lol! so I jumped up really early & squeaked out three quilt blocks to add to my Trip Around The world quilt,I think I’m almost done, whoo hoo! I have 19 blocks & aiming for a lap size quilt, about the size of the red blanket you see peeking out on the end

so that’s what happened to my Fri. night, it turned into Sat. morning lol! be sure to visit

SOMETIMES YOU JUST GOTTA MAKE SOMETHING CUTE

I had wanted to try my hand at padded hangers for a while after coming across a tutorial on You Tube, so I bought some from Wal-Mart,outlined one side for a pattern template

 

wrapped the hangers with batting, made a test out of the red fabric

then sewed up ends for six hangers for a friend

slide the ends on, stitch & tie off with ribbon

when I have time ,I’m gonna make me some lol!

so why aren’t I sewing? cause I’m up to my eyeballs in peaches, pears ,tomatoes & apples oh my!

with the tomatoes we made salsa with my daughter 

with the pears we made pears in light syrup, pear fried pie filling, pear walnut muffins, pear pies

with the  red apples we made apple fried pie filling with the green I am making pie filling

with the peaches we made peaches in light syrup, peach jam, peach fried pie filling

did I mention there was a lot of jelly making going on lol!

I am almost done & then sewing room here I come!show time is less than three months away & there is sew much to do!
