A PRIMITIVE PLACE NEW MAGAZINE

Have you heard the news? A Primitive Place is introducing their new magazine which will come out in Aug.of this year, just look at this cover, isn't it just prim/country yummy! LOL , so be sure to go by http://www.aprimitiveplace.org/ for more info.

seems like I've been running here, there & everywhere lately & when I feel the need to get down to business making my prim Annie's, you know the ones you have to get down & dirty with LOL! it comes up a storm as it is doing today, LOL!

Do you ever get brain storms? bright ideas? well I had one the other day, thought hummm I'll have a finger/toes week, meaning anything involving fingers/toes I'll work on & get out of the way,oh my gosh! just the new pattern I just bought with the mama, & 2 baby's & goose alone has , well you add it up, it makes me faint just thinking about it LOL LOL then I thought , there's a few Santa's that have fingers, there's a few Annie's even an Andy or two, yea this may be more of a fingers & toes month instead of a week LOL LOL, show time is fast approaching, Sept. seems afar off but trust me it's coming down the road at 100 miles an hour so I'd better get back to the sewing room while the light's still on LOL!

CROW PIE FOR SUPPER

What's for supper? How about some good ole crow pie LOL there's still a few finishing touches to add like pip berry's & a tag that says crow pie but here's a look at one of our featured show items for 2010, I haven't made them since I had an order for 30 a few years ago, yep 30! whew! each one will come with an antique pie pan

LOL I noticed the scale says one, that's a lot of pie! LOL Americana is beginning to be very popular among my customers so I will pick back up making this Americana wreath

as I was going through pictures & reflecting back as to what has been good sellers in the past, I came across my Annie I call Rags, she is made with a traditional Raggedy Ann pattern & her hair is made of tea stain muslin strips, she's so cute I just gotta bring her back LOL

September may seem a far off but it will be here before we know it, there's still lots of sewing, stuffing, staining, painting, sawing, sanding & Lord knows what all else to do LOL my goal for my ornies this year is to have a 6ft tree full , there will be rag quits introduced this year, at least one! LOL, my goal for 2010 i to have the best shows ever so means triple the work! LOL

THE PINKIE IS FREE & A NEW PATTERN

Good news! It's been about 7-8 weeks since I dislocated my pinkie, when I went back yesterday, the X rays showed that the bone was actually fusing back together as well as the torn tendons, he said I could take the splint off but to still baby it & wear it at night or when I'm doing something like housework etc. & that if it starts to droop back over to come back, ohhh isn't God good!

so it'll be back to the sewing room full speed ahead here pretty soon, I received a new pattern in the mail the other day & let me tell you she's one big ole gal! I thought there was only one baby in her lap but there's two! plus a goose, sure hope my pinkie is up to the challenge LOL LOL

just look at all those fingers & toes! LOL by the time this is over with hubby wont know which one of us to hang up to dry! LOL LOL
