A SEW IN LOCK IN

I guess that's what you would call it LOL, I'm going to attempt to approach the machine one more time , hopefully nothing will fall off LOL, I've got my list of UFO's (unfinished projects) & ornies ready for stuffing, the house is pretty much clean enough to stand on it's own so the big plans are to sew till I drop today up till bedtime maybe even past bedtime, never hurts to get in a little over time, especially with a show fast approaching! LOL, maybe I'll put in some good movies & have a movie sew in marathon LOL

WAS ON A GOOD SEWING ROLL UNTILL...

Ever have those freak accident moments with your machine LOL,I'm just sewing away getting caught up on some things,good old classic movie going & all was right with the world when the pressure foot fell off into 2 pieces mind you, the needle bent up into a U shape in the middle of parts falling off LOl there was no jammed thread so it didn't make a lot of sense why the machine suddenly had a break down LOL I'm going to give it a little time to pull itssef together then attempt to fix it , meanwhle it's a good thing I have a back up machine LOL

UFO'S & NEW PROJECTS

Thanks for all the sweetness shared these past two weeks, I'm feeling much better & getting back to normal, trying to get caught up on some things for our upcoming shows

I'm almost finished with this apron,just need the ties, it's shorter than I wanted it so it may be going to the show with me LOL

finally got my yellow polka dotted dress cut out, finally! something for me! me! me! LOL but I'd better hurry, or it'll be too cool to wear it LOL

somebody just needs a face LOL
there's a sweet couple just just needs a body to call their own LOL they will be brown headed


why do we do it? why do we keep buying new patterns & adding to the "to do" list LOL LOL, it will be a while before I start on another quilt ,but what can I say , Hancock's was having a 99 cent sale on patterns & the quilt book was just to cute to pass up LOL

out of all my newest ornie patterns, I'm leaning toward You Are Special's Reindeer In Flight to work on tonight, there's a good movie coming on at 8:00 tonight ,"Julie & Julia" I always seem to get in on the middle or the ending every time this comes on as this morning it was on midway by the time I discovered it was on so I scrolled the guide & there it was again at 8:00pm so I'll put the spare sewing machine in the living room & it'll be movie night at home & working on reindeers

GOING INTO WEEK 2 OF NOT FEELING GOOD

well here it is going into week two of the yuckies, it started with a sore throat, which I'm sure someone at church gave me cooties lol, fever comes & goes, , you'd think after a week it's be gone whatever it is but seems to be getting worse, now with fever still coming & going, I feel drained & coughing, I do pretty good till I go to lay down, then I strangle, the only relief is taking night time NyQuil, cause it knocks my lights out LOL, I'm supposed to be watching 4 grand kids this coming Thur-Sun , plus our pastor is out of town leaving us with the services so I need to get better in a hurry or my daughter will come home from vacation to 4 sick kids LOL & we wont even talk about how close our first show is, like the middle of Sept., hubby say I sound like I'm getting Pneumonia, I sure hope not, I just don't have time for that! LOL, I'll try to keep you posted which way it's going, till then I'm going back to bed LOL

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT NANNA'S

this is one proud paw paw LOL after six granddaughter's , Noah Ellis Johnson our first grandson was born just shy of 2 weeks ago

I've been making jelly(L) is wild plum (r) is grape from our grapes

I've been gardening & experimenting with herbs

catching up on reading & studying

this will be an on going day & night project, little more than 5 years ago, yea too long right? my Aunt Annibelle brought me her quilt frame, which I have now, it's over 100 years old!anyways she taught me to quilt the old ways, paper piecing etc.no new gadgets or templates etc for her LOL,she is getting up in years now & starting to show signs of dementia ,every square every row all hand sewn ed is why it will be an on going project for I want to finish & show her I did it! while she still has the memories of the beginning of this quilt

and in the middle of all this fun & excitement there are shows to get ready for,as you can see that came to a brief hault LOL but it's time to jump back on that sewing wagon, I know Fall comes before Christmas but I'm losing my sewing mojo so I'm thinking of venturing out & whip up some Christmas here in a few days LOL
