DAY TWO PREPPING TWEAKING CRAFTING

yesterday was spent  having to go to town for supplies, don’t you just hate being on a roll & having to stop to go get supply's lol! anyways got more done than I thought I would having to stop midways, got the dresses to the Annie's made



got a strip apron cut out like the one I made for myself a while back then seen where it says for personal use only so I’ll still make it for a giveaway, don’t you just love my little sample strip so I’ll remember what order I want to sew them lol!

there’s still boxes of sewing stuff in my shed that needs sorting, this is what happens when you empty out the sewing room to paint & redo, “you lose stuff’’’ lol! I found a pair of nakies

I dug a little deeper, knowing I had made or half way made some cloths for them, found them! after looking in four different boxes lol! Ann’s ready to go  well except her face lol!but Andy’s needs a little tweaking

tea staining muslin, baking cookies for the 12 weeks of Christmas treats' & getting six Annie's ready for their dayview is on the agenda for tomarrow

DAY ONE PREPPING-TWEAKING-CRAFTING

I spent the entire morning going through over half my patterns, sorting out all the Santa's, Snowmen, Raggedys, etc. then I did a lot of cutting (3) pillowcase babies (1)Annie & her snowman, (1) Annie & her bear …she’s a big ole gal too! 42” lol! & (2) Memories Annie

found these these gals in the closet & they just need their bloomers  & a little tweaking lol!

found some redbirds that just their beedee little eyes added lol!

not sure what to do with my gingers, their cinnamon is coming off, I think I use to rub modge podge on them, oh well I shall think about that tomorrow

looking for a lot of finishes,more prepping, tweaking & crafting tomorrow

FNSI RESULTS

well I know I should have been sewing something for the show lol! but there’s these chair back cover thingy's  I’ve been wanting to finish forever so I decided to go with that, they still need a little tweaking on the ties & I want to find some cute buttons to go across the backs

MAKING A LIST CHECKING IT TWICE

 

do you make list? how about a list of the list lol! it’s down to crunch time,less than two weeks till time to set up for my two day Christmas show, everything from last year was sold &  except a handful of things

   that’s a good thing except when it gets down to crunch time lol! I do have some nakies running around that just needs tweaking so I’m not completely having to start from scratch,I have my list lol I can just Maurine shaking her head lol anyways I have broke it own to hard,med. easy,quick , hard  meaning takes a long time like JOJO,     she’s fun to make & turns out fantastic but boy is those fingers, toes & hair a hoot! but she will be introduced to the show this year & the traditional with all those dresses, bloomers, aprons, rick rack,buttons, hair oh my !are time consuming,plus Andy will be with her

 

I’m introducing quite a few new items this year, so how long is this crunch time? 13 days!would you like to be with me in my sewing room these next 13 days & see what all’s going on? there’ll be lots to share that’s for sure!

NOT WHILE I’M CRAFTING

 

I need to print this out &n hang it on the door LOL! it’s just too cute & so me today!counting down to 23 days till my big 2 day Christmas show but I’m tied up with other things this week to get too heavy into getting ready but next week, look out! lol! today I’m getting a lot of much needed project finished up, hubbys off so I’m working him around the house as much as possible around all this sewing going on lol!

WHAT’S UP?

when I think of that question the answer way too much comes to mind lol! I’m working on a Christmas ornie swap ,30 that has to go out in just a few days,did I say 30? lol! still working on my granny quilt along I thought I had five weeks to get ready for my two day Christmas show & discovered no I have less than three, glad there’s a few nakies running around here lol!

two quilts that I’ve been working on forever I plan on finishing up in the new few months, I’ve been arranging more in the sewing room, hubby brought in our round dinning room table  we had out in the shed & put in the sewing room for me, it seemed to be just what the room needed ,this room has been fighting me for over a year lol the the thought came to me to set it up like a little shop & I’m loving it! that sewing room day view ‘s getting closer lol!

TRYING A NEW PROJECT

This is week one of the sew and stitch along & I’m already bombing out lol I thought I’d work on my kitchen chairs, a simple project I've had in the back of my mind for quite some time & I gotta say I’m not getting excited over this project lol! then I notice it says “Holiday” sew and stitch along humm shouldn’t I be doing “Holiday stuff lol!

see I thought they’d be cute to blend in with my runner I made, maybe I’m not giving them a chance lol oh well I'll give them another day or so then we’ll see what happens

I recently came across this challenge where you embark on starting new UFO’s what? isn’t the goal to finish UFO’s lol! I read it over a few times & yep that’s what it said ‘start” new UFO’s, I have too may as it is but I did start a new one in Oct, yea what’s wrong with me lol! anyways  I did finally start the curtains in the sewing room

  I’ve been trying seems like forever to finish up tweaking some things in the kitchen , there’s the bay window in the sewing room to match the small window I finally got around to doing a few weeks ago there’s a few quilts that need finishing, when it comes to UFO’s I have plenty lol!thanks Karen for that little nudge get back to the sewing room!
