THE MACHINE'S AT IT AGAIN

why does it do it! the sweet machine that is was working just fine while I was at my daughters helping her make elf stockings (our own pattern) & matching pj's for all the girls, we even made us a pair lol I guess sewing non stop for three days was too much for it, now here it is a week till show time & it's refusing to sew ohhh it's gonna get the hammer

guess I'll have to work on trees,etc for now, been scouting out new machines, this tree is featured in the Nov/Dec issue of Country sampler, I have plans for one on my kitchen table lol

back in the 70's ,my husbands grandmother always gave me the most delicate pretty handkerchiefs, I think I have one left around here some where, I went on a hankie search & came across a link, oh glory there they were, sweet new vintage handkerchief's, oh yea I will be clicking that button, more info. on the handkerchiefs on my Nanna's Place blog

when I get back to sewing, which I may have to beg borrow or steal well ok borrow lol a machine I am going to try my hand at MUG RUGS /POTHOLDER/HOT PADS, have you got into the mug rug craze yet?

CHRISTMAS SHOW

my two day Christmas show is over, I still didn't feel good when I did this show & I looked it as everyone kept asking if I'd been up all night, I'd smile & say no, humm seem if I was up all night I'd had all these UFO's finished lol oh well still got Santa & Snowmen body parts everywhere but that's ok, I got talked into one more show! LOL

ANDY & A SNOWMAN

here is an Americana Andy that I finished up this morning, the snowman goes with a big Annie who is under going a new hair doo ~lol~ the yard I used for her hair..not good! it got all fuzzy & yucky soooooo back to the sewing room with her & tonight is set up, mercy me!

I've felt so bad this week , not sure if it's worth going this weekend, everything I've laid my hand to I've messed up & not to mention I never made it to town to get the odd & end supplys which means I'll be up tonight

ALMOST READY OR AM I LOL

ready or not show time is fast approaching ~lol~ but I think I have more than I think I do , at least I hope so ~lol~

this is all I had left of my Annie's from my last show so I had my work cut out for me in the sewing room & I still do counting down to 3 days ~lol~




I usually only do the traditional Raggedy Ann for my Sept. show but I'm introducing her to my Christmas show this year, if they'll stop running around naked & get dressed ~lol~
the office has turned into my paintin station~lol~



there's candles to be bagged
pillows to be fluffed
gingers to bake
yep still a lot of somethings going on over here ~lol~oh well I have to go & set up Thur. night so Thur will tell the tale ~loL~Fri will be the hardest day as it is the longest 9am-9pm, then drive home then back at 7am sat. just an hr drive but that 9-9 can be a killer if you don't get enough rest
hummm I just realized I didn't make the snowmen's nose's, oh well I shall think about that tomarrow ~lol~

WHO'S NAKED LOL

HA! HA! I knew that would get you running over here, show time is fast approaching, too fast lol a week from today, you hear me? a week! & it will be time to set up for my Christmas show, there's a lot of nakies running around here, lots of baking & basking in the sun, lots of painting, can you say insanity has struck LOL, got this special order to finish up the it's back to working on show items

the couple beside her are part of my many many UFO's that just a tweak here & there, in the mist of all this, tomorrow is my parents 60th wedding anniversary, then Sunday is our grandson's dedication, he;s growing like a weed, first & only grandson oh yea he's spoiled lol so between partying, going out of town & a week till show time things are gonna get down & dirty over here, prim wise that is LOL

NEW SEWING PROJECTS

With less than 12 days till show time, pretty soon there wont be a place left to sit down LOL, my camera chip is full can you believe it lol I've decided that by the time I transfer 18oo + pictures onto CD's it would be easier to just buy a new chip, always need a backup anyways, right? LOL, going through my Christmas patterns, trying to come up with new items this year I pulled these out

been thinking about my sweet JOJO too lol I haven't made her in a while, she's a hoot to make but ohhh so sweet when she's all done & loveable too

so if I hurry she will get to go to the Christmas show with me, 12 more days , how many more can I make LOL LOL so it's back to the sewing room, Santa's snowmen, Annies, fingers & toes oh my!

I'M SO BUSY MY HEAD IS SPINNING.....

Remember that old song...I'm so dizzy my head is spinning, like a whirl wind it never ends......~lol~ I've been soooooooo"busy" that's the way I feel ~lol~
I did make it on my road trip, whoo hoo! more on that later
