12 DAYS ! YIKES!

Till show time that is, actually only 10 left for sewing, stuffing, painting, sorting , tagging, packing  ughhhhhh when you consider the 10th I go & set up & seeing it’s a 9am –9pm that Fri there’ll be  no trying to make anything that night for sure lol then turn right around & go back the next day

If I’m not fighting the machine, it’s the camera, pictures are in there but wont show up when I put the chip in the tower, not sure what’s up with that, I even deleted  5 non important pictures & took them again, still wont show up hummmmmm

so pictures today are pitiful lol finishing up those UFO’s

maybe the chip just needs  clearing completely, if that doesn’t work well  it’s a new chip  for sure LOL

UFO'S ARE WINDING DOWN

I"m not sure what's up with blogger, I made a pretty good post last night & poof off it went into cyber space, this morning it's all crazy & tiny little letters hummm what's going on here I finished up quite a few UFO's yesterday I'll get pictures when I get batteries recharged, it's always something isn't it LOL meantime I am working on little long johns

READY FOR SOME SERIOUS BUSINESS

~lol~ do you think I’ll get a lot out of this bag? Walmart has just about stopped carrying anything & everything to do with sewing, now all they have are these big 50 oz bags of poly-fil some of the walmart still have the regular sized bags but they’re a lot smaller now & have gone up in price

something as simple as running out of black thread  can cause a sewing room to shut down LOL, couldn’t put anybody’s eyes one, no mouths, no eyelashes, you getting the picture? LOL but not to fear, I now have 3 big spools ready to tackle all those Annies bright & early in the morning

meantime I switched over & started making gingers the rest of the day,  they will look close to this when done   All  was going good till I tried to sew my finger LOL

But all is well, I’m pooped & going to bed, clock will be going off at 5am as I’ve much to do!

ARE DIY PROJECTS TAKING YOU OVER

no time but I want to make these!LOL

LOL some say pinterest is a good thing but it can be a bad thing when those DIY projects start piling up in your head LOL by the way , how many pictures will one board hold? LOL with a little over  2 weeks till show time I really should stay out LOL as long as the DIY’s doesn’t turn into UFO’s it’s ok right?

LOL we can find all kinds of reasons to procrastinate & pinterest is  a good place to start lol ohhh but I love it so but there’s things be cut, sewed, stuffed, grunged, painted,baked, tweaked, bagged, packed & progress reports to be made

soooooo I will not look nor type in pinterest ohhhhhhh wait I can’t do it…..ok yes I can! I can do this! hummmmm whew! ok I will not look upon pinterest for the next week , I will confine myself to the sewing room & cut, sew, stuff,grunge, paint,bake, tweak,bag & pack

 

BUZZING AROUND

 

the more I look, the more I find, I’ve been at it since 5:30 this morning, got all the little noses & stars painted for the snowmen ornies, found scarves & hats that will turn into snowmen wreaths later, a nice size Annie & her snowman just needs a head of hair

in-between all the sewing, painting & grunging madness, I’m finishing up a 36” pink headed Annie for my pastors grand daughters 2nd birthday, there’s Oreo balls to be made for my grand daughters 13th birthday party, (tons of them) lol, help my daughter set  her church gym up for the party ,all this in the next 48 hours lol

after the party Fri night hubby & I will head out for Tenn he was supposed to go out of town the 29th but that got changed to the 23rd so it’s home late Sat. night from Ten ,up Sun  morning & off he goes lol

what are my plans for being alone this coming week?, sew, take nap, sew , take nap, sew, take nap, are you getting the picture LOL,

no worries here,! sewing  under pressure makes you beautiful !LOL 

HELP! I’M GOING IN!

I recently pulled close to everything out of the sewing room into the new shed  so’s to be able to better organize, paint etc. now it seems it’s a scavenger hunt  everyday ~lol~ have you ever came across body's & wonder what pattern did you come from???

what’s this? humm looks like  the thoughts of maybe a quilt? say it’s not so ~lol~  

we see you! let us out of this bag! what’s that in the corner over there? looks like somebody’s trying to get out~lol~ I must not stress & let the UFO’s over take me, I must craft on! but here’s my story & I’m sticking to it! ~lol~

last night not being able to find my long needle just made my MOJO  go belly up LOL   yea yea I should of “crafted on” ~lol~

ok you get the idea I could of but didn't! I let the missing needle get the best of me LOL LOL

I could of done something! anything! so today I did! I bought more needles~lol~

IT’S NOT THAT I DIDN’T WANT TO

Ever have to tell yourself that? LOL, first my machine wont go past  zero speed, got that figured out, now on to finishing up those cardinals, find all the little beads for eyes hummm where’s that 5’’ doll needle lol guess I’ll have to go buy another, keep calm & craft on lol so in the meantime how about some inspiration!

 

NO TIME FOR ROCKING

Every time I look at this Annie I can’t help but laugh about how she came about, I call her JoJo’s little sister, I had an order for JOJO a few years ago , well JOJO is a big gal right at 36””, her pattern is one of those that say add 4” here & 5” there, well I got ahead of myself & forgot to add the inches, when finished I noticed she sure was long armed & legged  to be so short LOL I sent the picture to my customer & explained & told her I’d make another  ASAP but when she saw her  she fell in love & said send me my baby I love her just like she is! LOL thus little sister was born! this year I will be making JOJO & JoJo’s little sister LOL

show time is fast approaching & I’m making my list & checking it twice LOL so far I have a free day tomorrow oh goodness did I just say that lol I need all 26 days that's left to be free but that’s not how our life rolls over here LOL, working on UFO’s (unfinished projects) & getting things lined up to work on,I’m looking forward to sharing lots of progress

DO I HAVE TIME

for DIY projects lol lol welll it’s hard to keep from adding to that “just for me” list when  you come across so many great ideas lol, I think my calendar is clear for Monday shhhh don’t say that out loud LOL counting down to 28 days, whew! surely there’s time in between sewing  for  a few“just for me” projects, it’s for the new sewing room, doesn’t that make it aright? 30 DAY COUNTDOWN

To Show Time, where does the time go & why does it go by so fast lol 30 days till time to set up, today I went through all the patterns Maurine gave methere’s over 50 wonderful patterns, raggedys, prims & there's some big gals in here too lol  ,there’s some I know I’ll be making & introducing to my show, she also loaded me down with fabric, which I’ll probably roll up all cutie like  & display in my sewing room

I’m thinking  maybe make some pillows, or a sewing machine cover with some that goes with the new colors in the sewing room, yea this  may appear as playing but I assure you it’s more on the thinking & pondering process LOL then I went through boxes I’d packed up when I emptied out the sewing room & found a some UFO’s they’ll be so cute when finished

then there was a bag, hummm what’s in here cardinal & snowmen ornie UFO’s, when I find where I put the accessories ~lol~ they’ll look like this

there’s lots more UFO’s waiting to be found & finished lol,found 2 boxes marked shows, which means they’re full of finished Annies etc so between them, all the UFO’s & all the new things I want to try I should have a very good show this year, there’s  a few new things I want to introduce this year, love love love these aprons,instructions can be found here

at least get one “just for me” in there lol,I’m in for  a busy weekend at the church with a fundraiser yard sale & Boston butt sale, there’s baking to be done tomorrow for the bake sale, so big plans for tomorrow is to rise & shine really early & get going on those ornies then decide what to make  for the bake sale, bake bake bake then sew sew  sew all night LOL

BE CREATIVE

It’s getting close to the wire for getting creative with 30 plus days till show time, this is my biggest show of the year Fri. 9am-9pm & Sat 9am-2pm, in-between all the petal stomping, fabric flying, snowmen melting, Santa's hollering Ho Ho Ho I’m putting my sewing room together, I’ve decided to go with the sear star blue with van. ice cream trim , doesn’t that just sound yummy! lol

anyhow I’ve got lots of ideas stashed in my pinterest boards lol Maurine  is just about settled in her new home, she will post more about that later I’m sure as she got her computer set up last night,we discussed a new sewing war when she was in the middle of her move & she’s about ready to declare war, you’re goanna love it! but I think I’ll wait on her till she’s ready to announce on her blog “sorry” in the meantime, I was able to go to Missouri & visit before she headed out to Michigan & she loaded me down with sooooooo much stuff, patterns, displays crafts, I’m talking  a Van full I’m not kidding, first thing she asked was how’s all my stuff LOL I told her it was going in the new sewing room, oh I’ve also been looking around the net for sewing machine cover ideas

so a lots happening over here at Nanna’s as you can see, painting, giving the sewing room a new look, getting ready for my 2 day Christmas show, then last but not least the new  sewing war with Maurine, I need a nap just thinking about it! LOL
